It's here! Essence, the much anticipated book three in the Nectar trilogy is ready for you. Wondering how Tristan & Kyla will get their much-deserved HEA? Here you go! All three books are now ready to be devoured!
Essence is book three in the Nectar trilogy, a dark paranormal romance. Reading these books in order is essential. This is a dark paranormal vampire romance and contains scenes and triggers that may be disturbing.
Contains VAMPIRES, BLOOD, SEX, BAD GUYS, GOOD GUYS, HOT GUYS, ANSWERS, and running-a-red-light sex.
In Nectar, we met Tristan and Kyla, who found themselves together in a dark bedroom. Kyla, an offering to Tristan, a royal vampire with an insatiable appetite.
They were almost instantly addicted to one another. Even if Kyla tried to resist.
Kyla couldn't help feel magnetized, drawn to the handsome vampire prince, despite the fact that he held her in his home and in his bedroom against her will. He forced her to feel things physically as well as emotionally.
Tristan was clearly drawn to Kyla, too. Not only was she his preferred type but the fact that she wasn't mesmerized and vacant like all the others and the fact that her blood was better than any blood he'd ever tasted created a fierce protectiveness as well as other mysterious emotions in him.
He transformed from arrogant hedonistic vampire to a lovesick romantic.
Love is rarely easy and this REALLY seems to be the case when the supernatural gets added into the mix!
Things weren't going well at the end of book one and Kyla had a tough snap decision to make.
In Ambrosia, Kyla had to deal with the fallout of that decision and process the truth, as it revealed itself. There was a whole lot of stunning, unbelievable truth to process while she felt herself changing, getting stronger, exhibiting some supernatural powers of her own.
At the end of Ambrosia things went terribly wrong and Tristan was faced with the reality of the agendas of those around him, those he'd trusted, those who had been grooming him for his leadership role. And he was faced with the inexplicable agony associated with a choice that he had to make.
Essence begins with Tristan's POV as he processes what happened at the end of book two and tries to find a way to right those wrongs while keeping his head together despite wanting to turn into an inferno that melts everything in sight.
“Standard vampire romance, right? The vampire falls for the human, the human falls for the vampire, and then she becomes a vampire and they live happily ever after. Isn’t how this goes? That’s how it always goes.”
Nope.
Not even close.
The twists, the turns, the steam (phew), the blood? Wait until you see where this story goes!
This book is the end of the Nectar trilogy but won't be the end for these characters. There's a HEA, no cliffy, but the doors will be left open for the possibility of future stories about some of the secondary characters as well as the opportunity to see where Tristan & Kyla's adventures will take them next.
This dark romance contains sex, blood and gore, violence, and a connection that surpasses all the heroine and her alpha vampire prince ever thought possible.
Essence Nectar Trilogy Book 3 eBook DD Prince
3.5 is what I am willing to give this book or shall I say the entire trilogy. The story line was different, I enjoyed them. The first book (Nectar) was a little hard to grasp due to the way Tristan kept Kyla. Tristan is supposed to be educated, smart and heading towards being a respectable leader. What I couldn’t get over was how juvenile the language was. He was talking like he was a 16 year old boy, not a man. Kyla did not come across as a 20+ year old woman. She reminded me of a spoiled 16 year old girl. Not this tough woman who had a rough life. Whining women turns me off.I like this trilogy even though it had a lot of sleeping, bad grammar and repetitive information. If I wasn’t told how old these characters were, I would never read these books. “Gonna” was repeated through the entire book! Again if the age was repeated several times, I almost felt like I’m reading a teen porno. That did not make me happy. I want at least adult conversation. (These are just my personal opinions.)

Essence Nectar Trilogy Book 3 eBook DD Prince Reviews
The Nectar Trilogy was a 5 star read for me. If I were to take the parts (that I loved) in every vampire book I've read and mixed all them together in the end it would be the Nectar trilogy. Awesome read, awesome characters, and awesome author....thank you Dd Prince for writing the perfect vampire books.
Third book of a great trilogy! Had a difficult time putting the books down. Some slow parts/aggravating parts where you just want to shake both lead characters but they have reasons for the way they act the way they do. Characters are well developed and detailed with personalities so rich they become real. Some bad guys (since there are many) could use a little better history discussion or development or maybe less of them as I got a little confused at times/mixed them up but was able to straighten them out in the end.
I really loved the first two books, but was a little disappointed in the conclusion. The first two had a lot of action and hot sex. This spent a lot of time explaining the "science" behind the story. While interesting, there was little true excitement from the time Tristan finally got Kyla to become lucid again until the last few chapters. I still enjoyed their relationship and how they interacted but wish less time had been spent explaining all the complexities of vampire interrelationships.
Murder, mayhem, restructuring of an elite vampire society, finding lost siblings all while trying to form a new relationship into a forever love, that's what this third and final book in the Nectar series gives you. Tristan is one bad a*s vampire who loves Kyla with everything he has and way OTT alpha possessive qualities. Kyla is a feisty smart character who gives Tristan as good as she gets. Together they remind me of the Cat and Bones characters in the Night Huntress Series. This is a good trilogy that has you guessing who is bad, who is their allies and who to trust all wrapped into a steamy hot romance. This book answers most if not all your questions, no cliffhanger, great read!!! New author to follow!!!
If you love vampires and very hot erotic ones this is the book for you. You must read the first two books in this series or you will miss out on all the characters connections and why Tristan and Kayla come to be together. This author has spun a tale that keeps you on a roller coaster ride of spins and turns through out the whole book! Did I fail to mention it is so hot it will burn you? This couple will leave you breathless. Some maybe a little turned off at one point of the story but it totally explains the story line. I like the darker read and DD Prince delivers it in this one.
This was going to be the third book of a trilogy but DD finished it in a way that we can hope someday to find out if some of the others meet their forever person! I sure hope so. Sam is so lonely. He needs that special someone that only DD can deliver. It would also be fun to see how Tristan and Kayla are doing with their forever bond. After all there are a lot of vampires out there who would love to destroy them !!!!
The book had 5717 locations on my kindle. This is the 3rd book in the Nectar series. You must read book 1, Nectar and book 2, Ambrosia before reading this book. The books are about a human girl and her vampire prince. The book contained some hot, hot, hot detailed descriptive sex and oral sex scenes, which I loved. The book did have a happy ending, which is always great. Books 1 and 2 were filled with suspense, action, drama and I could not wait to turn the page, to see what was going to happen next, but Essence just dragged on and on for me. Kyla was like a empty headed zombie, page after page in the beginning, which quickly became annoying. Tristan was so mopey, so broken, so depressed page after page, in the beginning of the book, which had me skipping a few pages, out of boredom. The book did pick up, the pace, in the middle, but I had kind of lost interest. Overall the book was ok, but definitely not my favorite in the series.
I have mixed feelings. It was a great series. But I sense her being a newer author as the characters were juvenile at times. Even a supposed vampire even if he was young. And Kyla did stupid thing constantly like i get it but at some point do you grow up? While Tristan’s was such a pansy thru most of the book like do you ever not let crap happen to her. How are you this super vampire? Then the last book so many lose ends are tied up and that was good but again Tristan and Kyla separate and of course something happens. I’d rather see them attack them both and Tristan kick butt While the book was good and different. It’s not a book I’d probably read again. I think her Dominator book was stronger and more together. But I still recommend it as it’s still a unique story with so much going on it will keep you in the edge of your seat.
